I saw this link to a simple mod to add a cheap 45X microscope on the the I4 for $5. just figured I pass it along I just ordered mine yesterday. I also ordered a cheap Mini 8X21 Monocular Telescope to try for fun.

the Pro HDR is what it is supposed to look like. You get both the foreground and background lighting without over/under exposing the other. And yes I know the Pro HDR one is a different photo but it keeps crashing on me right now for some reason so I'm using a two day old pic to show the difference.

HDR comparison

The camera is a huge jump up from my original iPhone. I don't see myself using the old point-and-shoot much in the future.

I have comparison of several photos today with and without HDR:

Here are two examples (the one on the left has no HDR the one on the right uses HDR).

ok i know you can take pics however you want, but i don't think Apple intended you to use pictures in that way.

I guess some people don't know when to use HDR.

Pro Tip: Don't use it on a photo that is properly exposed to begin with.
