I bought my 3GS on launch last year, and I'm eligible for an upgrade.

"As a valued customer, we can offer you an upgrade with a new 2-yr commitment and an $18 upgrade fee."

Mine says "A full discount on a standard handset or iPhone upgrade is not available at this time but you may qualify on 12/14/2010. We can offer you a discounted iPhone upgrade at a higher price with a 2-year commitment and an 18$ upgrade fee.

Does this mean I won't get the iPhone 4 for 199/299?

Go to a corporate At&t store and ask them. So far you have to pay the $399/$499 pricing, but you should be eligible for the $199/$299 pricing.

Yea I'm sure you'll get the full discount since you're upgrade date falls within 2010. I get the same message but my date is on 2/23/2011. I'll still be upgrading though, 399 will be worth it. :)

I liked Cingular better.......

I loved Cingular - especially the little orange guy!! :D

Why on earth would you do that?
Long, complicated story, but I wouldn't have been eligible for an upgrade even if I hadn't bought it.

My wife can get the early upgrade for $399 so I'm thinking about doing that. Still not 100% sure though... I figure I could sell my 3gs for close to $300, but it's still a tough decision.

"As a valued customer, we can offer you an upgrade with a new 2-yr commitment and waive the $18 upgrade fee."

Can't wait to upgrade from my 3G.

I qualify for the new pricing too except I just bought my 3Gs in December. I'm happy I qualify but why in the world would I be eligible?

Yay! Good News!!

Mine states "As a valued customer, we can offer you an upgrade with a new 2-yr commitment and waive the $18 upgrade fee." My Contract ends in October but I was eligible for upgrades since April.

I am so excited for iPhone 4:)!!

well i was originally eligible in May but when I sold my iPhone 3G they took the data plan off and that pushed my upgrade date to July. I hope I can still get the 199/299 pricing because of this.

I called up a few days after I found out my upgrade date changed and demanded they put the iPhone data plan back on.

Sorry if someone answered this already but...

Does this mean I'm eligible for the $399/499 price?

Thanks.
