'14 Mustang GT Premium, special ordered

Reliability: 10/10 (3k miles only so far)
Satisfaction: 10/10

If this car got totalled in the near term - god forbid - I'd grab a Challenger R/T Classic or SRT since I can no longer order a new S197 Stang. Assuming this car lasts til I'm ready for new, I'll be looking at a family hauler - maybe an S4 or an SQ5.

My families GM products have never given us any major issues. I won't expect my dad's new ATS to be any different.

That's good for you, of course. However, GM's cars continue a decades long stranglehold on the bottom of the reliability rankings by most major entities that do them.

God, I don't want to hijack another car thread, but Jesus man, Chrysler and the Germans have been near the bottom of the reliability rankings for years. GM does fine, and they're significantly cheaper to fix.

Next Car: Hopefully one of these (Elio)

Tell that to my 2012 Corvette that I already almost have 70,000 miles on ;) Some of that has included track time in SCCA races.

Never skipped a beat ;)

1995 honda civic ex coupe. 225000 miles on it, original engine, transmission. Bought it brand new in 1994 for about 17000. My work car but I love it. Go to gas pumps, 20-30 to fill up depending on price. Property tax is like 22 dollars for the year. Gets about 30-35 mpg still.

If you keep that timing belt and water pump changed on that bad boy, it'll go another 200,000 ;)

Just bought my first car yesterday. A 2002 chevy s10 4x4. Its indigo metalic with an automatic tranny and a vortec v6. I like it. It runs nice and its a smooth ride for a truck. The air condition is almost too cold and i plan on driving it for the next few years into college. Good truck and i recomend if you want a truck but not a BIG truck.

Oh yeah. My 14 year old will get it in 2 years. I might go ahead an put classic tags on there next year. 20 years baby!

Yep, Honda's are great cars, but there are a few things to watch out with them.

Keep that timing belt/pump changed every 60,000 miles. Otherwise you'll lunch the engine if it breaks.

If its an automatic, change that fluid every 60,000 as well.

Those are Honda's real only weak spots ;) Of that vintage anyway.

- Make: 2012 Ford Fiesta SEL
- Reliability: 9/10 - There were just too many teething issues and poor wear on the factory consumables in the first 20,000 miles.
- Satisfaction: 10
- Next car: No idea. I'm quite happy with my Fiesta and haven't thought about the future yet.

- Year/Make/Model - 2013 Mercedes C250 Sport (my car)
- Reliability - Bought it six months ago, can't comment
- Satisfaction from 1-10 - Absolutely love it, 10
- Next car - Probably a Mercedes GLK

- Year/Make/Model - 2014 Ford Fusion SE
- Reliability - No issues
- Satisfaction from 1-10 - My wife would give it a 10, I'd give it a 7.5, because I think the engine is weak.
- Next car - she wants a Jeep

2014 mazda cx-5 touring 2.5 awd

reliability 10/10: 20K miles so far, no issues. in my hands it makes a bit more than 27 mpg total, which is good.

satisfaction 8/10: it would be 10 if not for the Tom-Tom built-in navigator system which completely sucks. if i were to buy a mazda again, i would avoid the tech package and get something after-market

next car: no clue, prob a hybrid/electric, but won't happen in a while, and depending if they solve the recharging issue in manhattan

Make: 08 Altima

Reliability: 5/10 - My CVT trans is starting to "whine." 72k miles on it. Will get fluid changed $179 and see if the trans has to be replaced. It's covered for another 50k miles.

Satisfaction: 6. It's not "fun to drive" and I thought I would warm up to the CVT, but I haven't and now realize I never will. Hope to get rid of this thing in a few years.

Next car: Mazda 6 or Accord.

When I turn the key, and hear the roar of the V8, I'm transformed from an old 69yr old to a teenager again. Just driving is a pleasure.

To all the questions on the OP list, who cares I get a warm and Fuzzy feeling.

You have a Shelby AC Cobra?

You.Are.My.Hero.

(even if it’s a replica/kitcar, that still fantastically awesome)

2011 Honda Civic LX-S

Reliability: It's a Honda:cool:
Satisfaction: It's practical and easy to drive:cool:...too easy to drive (ie. boring).:(

Next Car: Ariel Atom, Scion FR-S or Honda S2000. Practicality goes out the window once the kids are grown up and/or the Missus leaves me. FR and good fuel economy a must; I ain't compromising on that next time around. I want, Want, WANT the street legal go-kart (Atom).

All you people and your new cars...

- 1998 Chevy S10 extended cab v6 (107,000 miles)
- 9/10
- 10/10
- 2016 GMC Canyon most likely.

I got the truck a little over 8 years ago and while I have put money into it that has mostly been for personal reasons. Only really things that have needed fixed was a water pump at about 85,000 miles and a head gasket at about 95,000 miles. Everything else has been what I consider routine maintenance or stuff I have wanted to add to the truck.

Did a spray in bed liner, hitch, brake controller, front and rear chrome bumpers, and body work to get rid of the rust that starting to show through.

I use the truck pretty heavily. It has multiple loads of yard waste, stone, dirt, mulch, firewood, etc put into it every month.

Next truck while like be in a year or two when the 2016 GMC Canyons come out. Want to test the gas and diesel versions next to each other.

It's an original, the only updates have been new disc breaks, and a valve conversion so that I can run it on unleaded petrol. There is no radio because when you drive it's that engine sound that grabs the heart.:D

Guess I should have said "new none classic" cars.

I will trade you my 30 years newer 1998 for that old 1968 one in the picture ;) Your getting a great deal, your getting a vehicle that is 30 years newer, think of the fun you could have with the radio and cassette player in your new 1998 vehicle!! ;) :D

As good as that offer sounds, I think that I will keep my beautiful baby.:p

- 2008 Toyota Camry XLE

- Reliability: 10/10

I've owned the car for about two years now. Bought it with about 32k miles on it. There are 48.5k miles on it now. I haven't had a single issue with it yet. Change the oil, rotate the tires, and go. I live in Wisconsin and have gone through two winters with this car. Again, no issues whatsoever.

- Satisfaction: 8/10

It's very reliable and the gas mileage has been nice (26+ MPG with mostly city driving). However, driving the car itself is a pretty average experience, and the exterior styling is starting to get a bit dated. The interior is really bland/boring. Sound system is actually really great though (factory JBL system).

- Next car - 2012 or newer Camry SE, or maybe a newer gen. Ford Edge

Considering my current Camry has been so reliable, and the gas mileage has been great (and will be better with the newer gen Camry), I can't help but to consider getting another Camry. Not to mention the exterior styling is sharper on the current gen. and the interior is VASTLY improved. However, I have considered going back to an SUV, and I really like the newer Ford Edge. We'll see!
