As the very long fall continues...the first frost is upon us. Maybe we'll get some decent snow this year, though not likely. This city is pretty dry and relatively warm in the winter. To me, a Canadian, it's like fall all "winter." It's humorous to see the locals crackin' out the down-filled parkas when it's +17 celsius.

ps: I see a lot of people using weather widgets, which I don't like personally. I'd suggest trying the free Weather Dock app. Much more info, much more display options (in the dock or menu bar, or on screen)and very fast and easy to set up and switch favorite cities.

Those are most of the reasons I use the weather widget instead. It's clean, simple, doesn't modify my menubar, and gives me exactly the info I need.

Wellington: Heavy rain tonight and in the morning, clearing for a time but more rain and thunderstorms with hail later. Severe northwest gales easing tomorrow.

And this is the beginning of our summer !

I said "display options." It need not modify your menu bar. As for simple, weather dock can display as little or as much as you want.

Brrrr... coldest fall that I can remember for November. The entire city is covered in snow, like a Sisley painting.

I may not win the coldest weather. But I win biggest change. Its going from -6 yesterday to a high of 16 in two days then down to -10 over the weekend. 26 degrees. Or even better in Fahrenheit. Its going form 60 to 14 degrees. 46!¡! Ridiculous. Thats what I call Catch a Cold™ season.

Been riding around -25 to -29.

Edmonton, too is currently at -34º.

Oh, how I miss ski-dooing in the open fields and snowshoeing when I lived there in the winters. Can't wait for spring though, when p u s s y willow trees pop up everywhere, and chinook winds caress my naked shoulders. :)

luv ya bunches! xoxoxo

It's "cats an' dogs" outside!

Basically rain, rain and more rain to come, plus some strong winds.

Meanwhile in Argentina... (that's Celsius btw)

ITS FREAKING SNOWING HERE!!!! and minus 5 degrees celcius...

Theres 15cm of snow on the ground and its utter chaos...but at least the water is safe to drink again.

For those of you not familiar with Vancouver, this is not the usual weather, a new record was set this month for most rainfall and most snow.
The good news is that my school is closed...nice having the university on the top of the highest point in the city.

I spent 15 minutes trying to get into my SUV yesterday morning because the doors iced over. Thank god for 4-wheel drive, though. Going south up Oak St. from 6th Avenue is a real slippery deal. :)

luv ya bunches! xoxoxo

oops, meant to combine this post with the last.
