ready for winter!

I spent 15 minutes trying to get into my SUV yesterday morning because the doors iced over. Thank god for 4-wheel drive, though. Going south up Oak St. from 6th Avenue is a real slippery deal. :)

luv ya bunches! xoxoxo

oops, meant to combine this post with the last.

Hmm I still can't open my sliding doors and windows and I have icicles inside my house...
Fortunately I don't have a car and I can work from home, I have left the house once in 4 days, just to go get a Starbucks Eggnog Latte.
I hear that the hill at Blanca to UBC is too slippery for the buses to make it up ... I am at main and 13th and it funny to see how many fancy new cars can't make it up the hill to 16th with out sliding.
just looked out window...snowing some more... maybe no classes tomorrow wheee....

Canada is cool.....if you're from Toronto.

ZING!

Hurray for Toronto! At least we can take the cold :) -- although it is currently 15 °C (at 10pm), and we're all walking around with T-shirts, shorts and those 99-cent flip-flops you get at Canadian-Tire. Maybe Toronto is the new Vancouver (lately, it seems to rain just as about as much).

Ours is turning bad...Good thing I'm going to Florida on Friday morning!!

Yes, my city really is "South Park" And no, Cartman or Kenny or anyone else exist! ;)

It's supposed to get down to about 28ºF tonight. We had some rain last week but I haven't head of any in the upcoming days. Just a bunch of coldness.

AARGH! Not another of those people who think Canada consists entirely of Toronto! I'm deeply offended.;)

It has always been funny to me how I have to defend myself and tell people that I really don't think of Toronto as being "all" of Canada, because as a Torontonian, I truly do not think so.

I said that I find this funny. Why? Because one of Toronto's nicknames is "Centre of the Universe", and yet I'm defending my home city by saying that this isn't the way we really feel. The nickname doesn't really help me prove my point, y'know? :p

Yeah, many people blame this on "global warming".

They blame global warming when the season is unusually warm, but what about the times when the season is unusually cold, like it was 3 winters ago? Did global warming turn itself off that year? :p

Um.....anyway, I live in Australia right now, so I'm going into summer soon. Have fun in the ice, slick! :p

The first is where I live, the second where I'll be next week. I'm not looking forward to it!
