I'm searching for new workout shoes - really want a pair of Nike iD customs...was close to ordering the Freerun Hybrids 3.0 v4 but I didn't cos I think I need more support!

There's a pair of nike trainers that I keep seeing in workout videos etc and I can't find them! I'm pretty certain they are part of the free run series tho - they have that type of sole to them!

Anyway - here are mine...only got them back in September but as you can see I've them worn out pretty badly already :/

P.S sorry for quality - iPad 2 camera

I dig the pink laces :p

Brooks are the only shoes I haven't tried yet, which is shocking. I was going to purchase a pair yesterday, but the ones I wanted weren't available in my size, so I went with the Saucony.

Other shoes I actually wear running/to the gym:

Nike Lunarfly (my first pair of Nike Lunars that set off the rampage of purchasing Nike's again)

Forgot about this picture: Nike Free Run 2

Which I also have in this colorway:

And I wear these ones seldomly..

Okay, i'm done for real now. Well, until I buy another new pair :)

How do you feel about the Free Run's... I debated them a while back but haven't pulled the trigger. The flimsy support makes me hesitant.

I'd also like to know this - have designed loads on Nike iD but still haven't pulled the trigger and bought them :D

Same here, haha. I think a small title change is needed. Lol.

Anywho, these were a grad present so I've been using these for running and fitness, love them! :)

I have a pair too! Find them great for shorter runs <6miles, but anything more I get calf issues, use my inov-8 roclite-315 for my longer runs of road.

You know, I do find that to happen to me oddly. I primarily use these in the gym now, but I don't like doing long 7-8 miles with them. Are the inov-8 comfortable?

Got these about a month ago. Took a bit to get used to them, but knocked out a morning run of around 7.2 miles yesterday morning and felt great!

The inov-8 shoes are great on the rough tracks in the hills nearby but would probably be overkill for the gym/road running.

How about hiking? Or should I look into something totally different for that purpose?

Are we talking on rocky tracks or real off road e.g. heather/general brush? they would be great for tracks, really nice an light. but anything like dense vegetation or skree slops you're going to need leather boots and perhaps gaters.
