Postbox keeps trying to install update

Every time I launch Postbox email app it asks if I want to update it. I have clicked [Restart Postbox] button many times but it keeps showing that update screen. Wondering if anyone else is having this problem. See screenshot.

Also, as you can see the version I currently have installed is hight than the one it wants to install. Weird!

BTW: I already uninstalled and reinstalled Postbox but problem persists.

I am running Postbox 7.0.47 without issue. I have had Postbox installed for about 8-9 months... and it has always installed/updated without issue for me. What version of macOS are you running? You might also try downloading the latest from their website and installing the newest version manually.

I'm running Catalina (10.15.7). I already uninstalled and reinstalled. Didn't work. I might try it again.

Would you happen to know if this the best Postbox community forum? I don't see any Postbox official forums.

As far as I can tell, there is not "official" forum, but they do offer a "Help Center"... not sure how much help it will offer ... otherwise, the best you can hope for is help on an Apple-centric user forum (like MR). In my experience, their support options are severely limited... don't even see a Facebook or Twitter link on their site.

EDIT: Just did a search for info in the Help Center (they use ZenDesk) ... was prompted "was this page helpful"... when I said "no", I got another prompt to follow up via Twitter and Facebook... maybe you can reach someone that way...

I tried doing the same as you and what I saw wasn't any way to contact them via FB or twitter. It's just a way to log into the Postbox website with Facebook or Twitter.
