Posting Facebook updates via ios6

Anyone notice that the status updates does not get updated in the news feed, only updated in the profile page?

Any setting to make it update to the news feed as well?

this is a facebook policy (and not an iOS6 issue).
any update that comes from an "app" does not appear in your own news feed.
