Yeah I bought a cellular iPad mini 5 not long after they came out. I use it quite a lot. Like you I like the size of them. A couple of times in the past I've owned bigger models but never ended up using them much, so never kept them. This ones a keeper, though!

How do you like the size? I was looking at the mini when I bought my iPad Air 3 at AT&T but the size kinda turned me off. I wanted an iPad mostly for web browsing and videos, so the air3 seemed better than my iPhone XR for web browsing.

Just got mine yesterday too....love the size. Like the guy above, I had bigger ones that I never used because they weren't comfortable to use while in bed or on the sofa....but the Mini is the perfect size for how I use them....usually surfing while in bed or laying on the sofa.

When I ordered (Sunday), ATT was showing delivery between 21st and 28th. I got the mini today! Just got all the stock apps I won’t need on here removed, and now I’m loading up the apps I want.

I forgot how much I loved the size of the minis!
You're making my urge to upgrade to the iPad mini 5 stronger... o_O

You all are now making me want to get a mini too! I do a lot of ebook reading on my 11” and it’s fine but sometimes I wish for something smaller but bigger than my iPhone!

I love my iPad mini 5! Years ago I had the first iPad mini and then the second....and after that stuck with the larger sizes. A while ago I started thinking about how a Mini would work out really well now for travel in conjunction with my 12" MacBook, and got an iPad mini 4 on sale and found that yes, it worked out fine for that purpose, so as soon as the long-awaited Mini 5 arrived on the scene, I jumped at one. My little Mini 5 goes with me around town, too, since it so easily tucks into a purse or bag, and it's great for use in bed at night. Just the right size for an e-reader!

I have the cellular data one because it seemed logical to me that an iPad which frequently leaves home might be more useful with cellular data than without, and that has proven to be the case. I much prefer the larger size for reading to what I can read on my iPhone and it is easier to type responses to texts and emails on it, too. At home I often use the larger third-generation 12.9 iPad Pro, too -- depending upon what I'm doing and where. That's the one which goes out on the deck with me in warm weather.

Agree with all the others. Size and speed is perfect. I am typing two hands while laying in bed while checking out this site and hopping to some YouTube videos. Small enough so it’s not unwieldy but large enough vs a phone screen. Even got a larger more protective case and still feels great in hand.

I love it! Of course I have my 11” pro to use with the keyboard for more serious stuff, but it’s too big to hold in bed, or when I’m relaxing, and my phone is just not big enough.
