That can't be real...why the white? with so little of it they should just go black/copper...Also the camera cutout it black which also makes no sense.
No, like I said it is a dummy model, and so is the image featured in this article.

Apple needs an anodized matte blue like the product red. That would be nice.

If the front actually ends up having that notch as has been rumored, I still keep trying to figure out exactly how they will implement all of the status icons (i.e. battery, time, Bluetooth, etc.) around it. I've seen a lot of great and not so great ideas on here. It will be interesting to see Apple's take on it nonetheless.
Yeah, it will actually work with the black front, and while it won’t take advantage of the display design, but I think taking advantage of the OLED black levels would look great.

I agree. The OLED display will play a big part in working with the cutout assuming obviously that it actually gets an OLED display ;)

Not the biggest fan of the copper, but it could be worse. The good thing is this will surely replace Rose Gold. Glad to see that color come to an end already.

Side note; I will be happy to purchase the Black version which looks by far the cleanest.

Also, if you are thinking Apple will do black front on the Copper or White version, you are sadly mistaken. Get ready for the ugly white notch and bezels all around :D

That's absolutely a female color but of course guys will get it because it's a new color.

It could be purple and they'd buy it because it's different lol

Remember there is a difference liking the color and getting it because it's new

Welcome to 2017 buddy. We don't do segregation of colours!!! Flaunt your confidence!

Back when I was using android I had a copper coloured sony xperia z3. It was a gorgeous phone with a black front.

If the colour is similar to that z3 it will be tempting to upgrade from matte black ip7. I originally had a gold one but swapped it out for the black as I found the gold too gaudy.

Samsung copper gold coming in 3,2,..

Just fyi, I believe Samsung had a copper gold galaxy s5 a couple of years back, albeit looking like a Band-Aid with oxidized blood.

If you're referring to the jet black version, it's the farthest from looking clean. I have viewed many of those phones, and when they are scratched and loaded with fingerprints, it's the worst looking color of all of them showing the most damage with that high-gloss black.

This copper gold color, if real, would be the first new color to make me consider not going with black/space black. I have never been a big fan of the silver/white, gold/white, or rose gold/white options on an iPhone or iPad. The copper looks cool to me for some reason.

But again, not holding my breath that this is a real color option.
If this is a real color, I will consider getting it. Coming from a Jet Black iphone i will consider getting a bright color iphone for a change.

I don't like it. I would call it "sad peach". Hopefully it looks better in person (or is fake).

I would like the copper back if it had a black front. I'm not a fan of the white front that it going around but maybe Apple can make it look better. Waiting (im)patiently for the keynote.

Can we just do away with the ".... Gold" colors?

Call it "copper", and make it from real copper, and I'll be interested. I think it'd be interesting to see the permutations of oxidation on them.
Call it "pink", and do away with "rose gold"

Referring to the Glass black iPhone 8 pictured in this article, and I mean clean from a design perspective. Even so, glass shouldn't have the issue with scratches like the iPhone 7 did. Had I bought an iPhone 7, I would have still chosen the Jet black though. I am very good with my phones, and have never had any scratches on my past 4-5 devices over a 8 year period or so, even without cases.

Microscratches, sure. But I only saw them when I put a light overhead, and otherwise never knew they were there.
