Am a newbie around here but have found this forum so useful in the past, I thought I'd give back.
I've been using MobileMe to sync up my 10.6.4 Mac Pro and Macbook Pro these past few weeks, and iDisk ALWAYS was slow and had problems on my MBP to the point where it was causing data loss on iDisk web. No problems on my MP, just my laptop.
It turns out that I had mistakenly setup parental controls on my MBP account. Once disabled, my download speeds shot up and all the random iDisk sync errors went away. Crazy. (BTW, parental controls only seemed to have screwed up iDisk. The other sync services worked fine)
I hope this bit may help those having pain with iDisk! For now, at least, my problems have disappeared.
