Well, I ate my hat and updated my S5 to OS7, which I was loathe to do and lose force touch... but oh, those faces.

I'm really sad that 3D touch/force touch died out due to 'lack of discoverabliity' - which I still call BS on. Apple found a way to implement the touch equivalent of right-click and totally screwed up.

I hope we see it return one day. Long pressing is NOT the same. It stinks. Fight me.

RIP force touch.

Considering that nearly none of the Series 6 reviews have mentioned the lack of force touch, maybe it really was a feature almost no-one used or knew about.

I personally used it daily and loved it. My S3 hasn't felt the same without it. Oh well, guess we gotta get used to it and move on.

Some certainly have. Perhaps over time as it became know that it was going away some people didn't really bother with it that much anymore.

I haven't updated yet. The only thing I really used force touch for was to clear out all the notification... what's the method now?

i used it and love it.. but yea i guess just have to get used to the new "gestures" compensating for it..
