Hi All,

This morning i opend my powerbook, and the sleeplight kept blinking. No biggy, that sometimes happens. But when i pushed the power button, noting happend. No reboot, no chime... just the sleeplight kept blinking -slowly as ever-

I removed the battery, and unpluged the powerplug, tried pushing the powerbutton, for a short while, and long... to no avai... it just kept blinking -with the battery removed-

Do any of you have a suggestion how to bring my powerbook back to life? It's a 1.25ghz 15"..... all stock hardware

Thanks in advance

Remove the battery for about 5 minutes so the internal back-up battery will die out and your PowerBook will turn off.

If it happens again, try resetting your PRAM.

Assume that it wasn't plugged in properly before you tried to wake it from sleep so the battery has run down?

Is the charger light 'on' when you plug that in?

I had a similar problem the night of the Regent St store opening. The Genius plugged it in for 15 minutes to get enough charge to wake it from sleep and then told me to take it home and give it a full charge. He also gave me a reminder about recalibrating your battery every month or so.

That was the weird part. Is was/is properly plugged in and fully charged..... the light around the plug was green, as it has been for the past week...
