power adapters compatible between 13" and 15"

I've got a 24" ACD. I'm assuming the integrated power cable will work with both the 13" and the 15" MacBook Pros. Am I correct in thinking that the stand-alone power cables are not compatible between both computers but that the ACD is?

Yes it will work. All magsafe power supplies are compatible some are just more powerful than others so they will charge faster.
