Well it's not like it can't be found at many other stores is it :)

I would be wary of battery cell quality buying a no branded item like that but each to their own.

MBK... they sell the ones designed to look like an iDevice in 1800mah all the way up to 20,000 mah.

If you knew BKK you'd know thats where I got it... ;-)

Anker is a no-name brand. Every brand aside from Mophie is a "no name" sorry to break it to you. They all come from contract manufacturing factories in asia....

I have the mophie powerstation xl. Bulky. Little expensive. But does the job when traveling

I have had Mophie products in the past, I would take a Jackery or an Ankor over those any day of the week.

I would say Mophie is the "Monster" or "Bose" in the power bank world

Ok products but you can get the same (if not better) for far less!

"best" and "most reliable" are completely subjective.

they're both good brands.

The argument here is really that of the whole PC vs Mac. There are companies like Anker, Jackery, and 100s of others on Amazon that use cheap components, overstate their capabilities, and go for cheap, but work perfectly fine. We'll call those "PC" ... then there's Mophie which makes a better quality product, has higher-end distribution channels, and world-class support should something happen... but all of that comes with a steep cost... we'll call them "Mac"

Honestly if you just need power on the go, cheap isn't necessarily a bad thing... worst case if it dies in 6 months you replace it and it's still cheaper in the long run. I've always preferred Mophie because they're such high quality and if ever there is an issue, one phone call and they send a replacement.

However, lately I've been leaning toward a couple others... when I was in Bangkok last week I bought a model that looks EXACTLY like the form factor of the iPhone 6 and packs about 12,000 mah of power, and cost me $12...

... so it really comes down to personal preference. If you're in warranty, go for whatever gets you the most bang for your buck. Personally I think it's funny people carry around huge power packs. I just need to get 1 charge out of mine, so prefer light and compact.. but everyone is different.

It's not quite as big as you were looking for, at 9000 mah, but I can't recommend the RAVPower savior enough.

It has a built in wall plug, built in lightning adapter, as well as one additional USB jack for other things. The shell is a soft touch, hard matte plastic, that feels great and there is absolutely no give at all - perfectly solid. I've used Anker products before, and the quality doesn't even come close. I can't imagine buying a different brand after buying and using this case.

I'd say more like Apple, but hey... try walking into a store and getting your Anker or Jackery replaced on the spot.

Right...well at the end of the day these are still battery cell packs & nothing is as important as the quality of those components. Look around but no point overspending they all function similarly & my fav is Ravpower.

Go read some reviews on Amazon for your beloved mophie, they don't have as great of customer service as you may think.

I speak based on personal experience. 90% of people who review do so when they have a negative review, but not a positive.

I always laugh when people say that... as if Anker or Powerbank or Ravpower were any less of a "no branded" item.... they're all mass produced for cheap in China... lol.

I recommend RAVPower. I have a couple of their power banks and they have been rock solid for me.
