Looking to get this to power the NEO, and video out to external monitor.

Will i still be able to get 5 Gbps via that USB-C 3.0 if I plug a SSD external drive in?

This doesn’t power anything. You will still need to use your power adapter via its power pass through port.

Says it only supports display mirroring with macOS. Is that what you want?

Depends on what other stuff you connect to the hub but typically yes.

Yes.... I'm aware I need power adapter via its power pass through port.

But ideally, I'd want a hub that not just mirror, but a hub that allow external monitor as 2nd display. Can you guys recommend a hub that not just mirror?

So, with this hub, I can use external monitor, charge my Neo and assess an SSD at 5Gbps all at once?

The USB-C hub has an MST hub. macOS doesn't support MST for multiple displays, but does support MST for converting fast/narrow DisplayPort to slow/wide DisplayPort. You need MST if you want USB 3.x speed and 4K60 8bpc RGB 533 MHz from a DisplayPort 1.2 display that uses HBR2 x4. The HBR3 x2 from the host USB-C port is converted to HBR2 x4 by the MST hub.

If you connect more than one display to the MST hub, then it will mirror those displays. The built-in display of the Neo is a separate display and does not need to be mirrored with the displays connected to the USB-C port.

The MacBook Neo supports USB 10 Gbps, so a USB-C hub that supports USB 10 Gbps and MST would be a better solution.
Search google for USB-C hub that supports 10 Gbps and DisplayPort MST

Yes, the hubs should work like that though I don't have a Neo or one of those hubs to test myself.
