Power Mac G5 or New Mac Mini

I just enjoy that 2 years ago people on here were telling me that the PPC is not worth keeping, and now 2 years later I still haven't upgraded and my workflow hasn't been negatively effected. This box definitely has earned what I paid for it. 🙂

I feel exactly the same way about mine. 🙂

The Mini makes more sense looking down the road a year or two from now, as support for the G5 dwindles away with time. The iPhone SDK, I would think, would exclusively require Intel.

If a second-hand G5 is acceptable, why buy a new Mini?

Why not buy a second-hand or Refurb Mini? Save more money and put that towards a RAM upgrade or drive upgrade.

I'm partial to the G5 but i have to admit, the mini is in your best interest.
