I understand that I cant fit a airport extreme card to my G5 as it was purchased after 2005. I have a airport extreme base station, is there anything else i can use to get my G5 wireless, can i get an airport express and connect the G5 to it with an Ethernet cable or are there PCI express wireless cards available.

Any advice appreciated.

There are probably some cards that you could use a generic or hacked driver like for the Atheros chips.

However the best solution I can think of for Wireless would be these wireless USB adapters besides finding the special Airport card for PCI-e G5's.
802.11N
802.11G

Or just use an ethernet cable.

Was looking at that but its not pci express.
Its too far to use an ethernet cable, the dongles look good, I take it they are just plug and play.
Those USB adapters I mentioned are probably just plug and play. Since OS X has several wireless drivers built in. Otherwise they will come with a driver. Macsales (Otherworldcomputing) is an old stalwart in selling products for Macs.
