I'm sorry if this is the wrong thread, but I was using my Windows 10 PC for important school work when the power went out and then immediately came back. I waited a couple seconds and then started to boot it up again, while it was still booting the power flickered on and off again. This time, I waited a few minutes, I booted it up which took a really long time, and started using it for my work, and the power flickered again and the computer for some reason booted up on it's own. What damage could this have caused to my PC? I'm not as worried about the times where the power flickered on and off while it was already booted, but more about when it was booting.

If the boots did not coincide with a message along the lines of 'Do not power off or unplug your computer', then you'll probably find no problems from the interruptions.

If you like, perform a check of the C: drive.

Generally speaking, file systems today are pretty robust compared to the state of them 15 years ago. If the computer starts fine, you're most likely good to go.

Wow your unlucky with power outs like that.

Yeah as above check disk just to check but be fine.

was it power to pc or whole house that went?
if PC maybe get your psu checked/replaced.

Where I live, we normally never get power outs, but I had really important work to do, and we were having a thunderstorm.
