Power Supply International Compatability

    If I buy a Macbook Pro in USA can I buy an Australian powersupply (instead of using a chunky converter) to use when I get back home? Or are the computers built differently?? Thanx

    All you need is the australia-appropriate little plug bit that attaches to the power adapter. The complete international set costs about $40 US from apple.

    really???! so the computer is the same i just need to buy the australian power adapter and the rest is exactly the same??

    Even less...the power adapter is the same in the US and Australia. You just need the international travel kit:
