How does the clear version hold up over time? I would expect some minor scratches showing in certain light. Does it get nasty and cheap looking in the long term?

Like anything else, mileage will vary user to user but mine was scratched to hell in a couple of weeks. I then opted for the matte version and it hides the wear and tear extremely well.

The matte version WAS nice for a couple of weeks UNTIL it started yellowing. Now it looks like ass.

Mine is on a gold 6. I'll have to take it off and check.

I guess it would be a bit difficult to see on a gold. Mine is silver/white and if held at an angle the case has an ugly yellow tinge. It's a shame because i kind of liked it.
