As the title says, this great product (just my opinion) is finally available to order on their US website. I've been tracking their website for over a week. Don't know what took them so long, but it's here finally. I just ordered one. Hopefully it will be great.

What did you get Clear or Black? Be sure to post some pics once you receive it.

$45.66 shipped to CA? Pretty pricey.

I think I'll wait for reviews.

Wow thats expensive. All it covers is the back right? Nothing on the front area. So if you drop it or skids on the ground face down, there is no protection?

Yeah, if you want full protection this case isn't for you.

Air Jacket will not protect you from your iPhone hitting the ground face down, but most hard cases don't protect the phone from this kinda impact anyway. Many hard cases have been said that they will pop open once the phones hit the ground. Only silicon soft cases can possibly protect your phones from any dropping impact. This case is designed mainly for preventing any serious scratch when you place your phone on the table or other hard surface.

I ordered a clear one. Some people have already posted photos from Japanese websites in other threads since they have had this in Japan for a while. You can search the key words: "power support jacket" in iPhone accessories section of the forum, and you should be able to see some photos. I don't have a digital camera with me at this point, so I'm sorry I probably won't be able to post any photos. Hopefully somebody else can post it here for our reference.

I Purchased the clear one too. Have been waiting for a good case. Will post screenshots as soon as I get it. Hope this case lives up to my expectations. I was debating btw the clear and the black matt one but went with the clear as it shows off the phone and is slim which is what I like. $43.75 to NJ.

It will probably take a week for UPS ground to get to NJ, but basically the shipping fee is the same for everyone that orders.

ok I got the shipping email too. I got the clear one. Hope its good. Have been waiting for this for quiet a while now. The only thing I don't like about this is that it does not cover the chrome.

Debating if I should go with the bodyguardz approach or this.

You should consider this "not covering the chrome" a good thing. Most cases (hard or soft) actually scratch the chrome much more than "naked chrome", though it's the result of dust particles trapped in between case and phone. I personally like this one coz it's just the kinda I'm looking for. Forget about "not protecting the phone when dropped" because most hard cases don't either.

I feel if done correctly, the bodyguardz protects the iphone and also the chrome, but its a pain to get it installed correctly. I've gone through 4 of the sheets and each had blemishes.

I'm a perfectionist and if I see a flaw, I just plain rip it out. Hope this case lives up to the expectations. Have been waiting for such a case.

Bodyguardz might be able to protect from scratches, but if you drop your iPhone, there's absolutely no way your phone will still be like new. I personally will stay away from those films which require messy liquid during application.

I kinda laughed when I saw "made in China vs made in Japan", but I remembered in psychology class they showed this video about how Japan was like China a decade ago. Churning out quantity vs quality and how they switched the mentality to quality over quantity.

Nowadays almost everything that comes out of Japan is engineered to actually work and function. Japanese products are the top of their class and leads by example.

I'm going to order this seriously based on that assumption because I know they actually engineered this to the best they can.

I really think you should re-consider making statements about hard cases not protecting the iPhone when dropped. Thats just a bunch of baloney.

I dropped my first gen iPhone many times, but the worst was on a marble floor! the iSee hard case protected it perfectly well.

I think a case is surely the way to go. Bodyguardz will protect it from scratches and is almost impossible to get an immaculate fit.
