Power surge fried my network card??

wont the electric company cover this?

even here in mexico they cover damage due to spikes and surges. the bad thing is they only cover equipment that belongs to the person who appears on the contract and you must show a receipt to all devices damaged. it also takes a few months for imbursement, but they eventually pay up.

see if you neighbors lost any equipment and work together
