Hi all,

I’m sorry if this is a silly question, but getting the new charging cable (USB-c at both ends) has thrown me.

Can I still use my existing powerbanks? If so, will it be okay to use the cables I’ve used with my older iPad i.e. USB at one end and USB-c at the other? Or is there something different required, or recommended?

Many thanks for any help.

You can charge from USB a - USB c from your powerbank, you don't need anything different, quality of cable will probably be a major factor, it will probably be a slow charge though.

Depending on the power bank it might take quite a while (or you might only be able to charge when you are not using the iPad). Best if the power bank offers PD output.
