I have:
APP1 I keep in the car and use regularly if I forget other buds while out and about
APP2 I keep at home and use as the normal go to
PBP1 x 2 That I rotate with my gym bags
PBP2 that just arrived

The PBP1s are no contest for seal, loudness, and bass compared to APPs. The instances where I've found myself running with APPs, I'm constantly pushing them in or fiddling with them for the seal. After awhile, the seal is broken and I'm not getting the full punch of the music. Also, I doubt my APP2s would have lasted my full marathon at full blast. the PBP1s battery life carried me through.

My biggest gripes with the PBP1s are the bulky case, periodic connectivity issues if I take a bud out and put it back in without docking it first, and the lack of ANC.

The PBP2s right off the bat sounded great, fit perfect with the right tip, and compared to the PBP1s are noticeably smaller and lighter. Wearing a PBP1 on one ear and a PBP2 on the other, the PBP1 feels ever present, while the PBP2 feels barely there. I don't perceive ear fatigue will be an issue. I can't wait to test them on a run and in the gym. The case is still too bulky, but it's quite a bit smaller than the case for the old version. ANC works great. Connectivity issues will be the thing to watch out for.

Then he’s clumsy. I have the new Power Beats and got pro. Exact same level of slipperiness.
Its does not matter if the new case and the old case are the same, as this has no bearing on whether the case is too slippery. I have the new earbuds and I feel the case is too slippery. The video author dropped them as well.

Has anyone who wears glasses tried these? I would like to try them out due to the longer battery life than APP2, but I wear glasses and am not sure if the ear hooks with glasses on will be an issue.

For me the ear hook did interfere with my glasses, and it kept me from getting a proper seal without doing quite a bit of adjustment. I suppose my glasses are a bit thick, so that could be it. Didn’t have this issue with the original PBP, but wore different glasses back then. I’m about to return my PBP 2 because of this issue (among other issues such as sound quality, size, convenience compared to APP 2, etc).

Where’s your opinion on how they function during your workouts?
I ran on the treadmill for 10mins with them, one felt like it was starting to fall out but it didn't.
They were also pretty uncomfortable after 10 mins and the sound quality was so low I just had to remove them.
