I've got 2A364, so seems there's been an update in the last month or two.
When your headphones are connected (either hold open the case near the phone or put them on), go to Settings > General > About > [YourName]'s Powerbeats Pro.

Just updated my Powerbeats with the new firmware. 2a364
I didn’t really have any problems with them before will let you know how the new firmware affects the performance after couple of weeks.
It would be good to actually find out what the update did.
Anyone has a link for firmware update notes?

I was just talking with a Consultant on the Apple Support Chat web page. There is a KNOWN Firmware ISSUE with 2A364 whereby the Announce Call volume is reduced so low that it can be inaudible. They are working on a fix which should be released in due course. Don't ask me when that will be, but keep your eyes peeled.
My Powerbeats pro suddenly went from 2a346 to 2c48, not shure how it hapend... I did not start the beats updater and promt it... Anyway... do anyone have a idea of what is changed...? 
On 2C48 w/ out ever using the updater & my PBP's were also bought on launch day so no complaints here.

Yes. I filed feedback with Apple for it, too, but only because it seems that the only way I can get it addressed otherwise is in store (which isn't happening right now) or if I send them in. But I'd need to initiate that with Apple anyway... Sooo... I tried there.
