So, I’m having problems with my new Powerbeats. It seems that hey Siri isn’t working. I have a series 4 LTE and when out running when I say hey Siri nothing happens.

I’ve tried unpairing and repairing but not difference after going out for a run this evening.

I seem to remember on some of the early reviews there was a pop up on the iPhone that asked if you wanted to activate hey Siri with Powerbeats but I never received that prompt.

Anyone having similar problems?

Some things to check...On your phone, go to Settings > Siri & Search
Make sure Listen for Hey Siri and Allow Siri when locked are enabled.

Keep in mind, when you say "Hey Siri" using the Powerbeats, you won't hear any kind of chime or sound. So, just say "Hey Siri"...wait a second, then ask your question. As a test, put your phone down...walk away so your phone can't hear you say "Hey Siri", then try it through the Powerbeats. Also as a test, start up some music, put the phone down, walk away a distance, then try "Hey Siri" again...the music should fade out...then you can ask your question...

I've noticed it's not 100% consistent but works most of the time...

And you can try resetting the Powerbeats as well...https://www.beatsbydre.com/support/how-to/beats-reset-earphones

My Siri is also really poor. It is set up correctly but only works about 1 in 10 times at best and I need to really say it loudly. I have double checked to make sure it is not the phone picking it up and not the Beats that 1 in 10 times. Also the voice of Siri is super quiet even if the music is loud.

I will try the reset of the Powerbeats Pro and see if it makes any difference. Hope it can work better, I had thought I'd just be able to whisper almost & it would magically work!

"the voice of Siri is super quiet even if the music is loud. "

I think what you need to do is adjust the Siri voice volume which works independently of the normal volume settings. On the iPhone, you can do that by using the volume slider on the phone while Siri is launched/speaking...its weird but that's the way it works. On the Watch, go to Settings|General|Siri and scroll down until you see VOICE VOLUME- SPEAKER. You can set that slider as far up as you want and Siri will be blasting. Until I did this I could barely hear Siri on the Powerbeats but now it is perfect!

I had same issue out of box with Hey Siri so i unpaired, reset the PBS and repaired and it's working perfect. Used it multiple times on run with Siri Shortcuts and changing tracks.
