Im having a little problem on my new powerbook

i had it for 4 days now, and yesterday, im having a little problem

i conected my BENQ FP91G+ (19 LCD monitor) to my powerbook, and everything works fine

but, sometimes, using it as extended desktop, or just in clamshell mode, it seems that the powerbook, just stops detecting the monitor, for about 2 seconds, and then detects it again.

and sometimes, stops detecting, and get into sleep mode.
its very annoying, since i have had this powerbook, for 4 days now, and im wanting to "do the switch" from pc, but this slight problem, keeps bothering me

i would apreciate any help, cause im desperate!

thank in advance!

Sounds like an issue involving the connection between the two. It seems like the Powerbook nor the Display are the culprits, but rather, one of the pieces in the middle. Try a known good display cable, and a known good video dongle (if you can track one down). If neither of those are bad, then take the PB in to be fixed. It sounds like it's still under warranty.
