Powerbook 12" RAM Slot Repair

My RAM slot has stopped recognizing RAM and now i'm stuck with the 256mb of built in memory, suffice it to say that this is not fun.

How can I repair this problem? What parts will I need?

If you decide to do this yourself, you're going to need a new logic board.

Logic board? i guess my whole powerbook is slowly dying.. too bad, had really wanted to use leopard.

Sometimes the RAM slot is what needs the repair. I'd get it checked out.
