15" PB 1.67 = NO regrets.
My only regret would have been not getting more memory right away--but then again that is easily solved by going to www.crucial.com ;)

Second regret...not getting it sooner.

Well it seems the most popular Powerbook is the 15". And I can understand why. Unfortunately I don't have the money for one of those. Plus I don't want a large machine. I want a 12". :D

Don't worry, the 12 is better anyway. More portable, cheaper, amazingly tiny (pc users find it incredible how small it is) and just fun to use. I have one and wouldn't have it any other way. I don't like large clunky things when it comes to computing. If a 12" laptop didn't exist I think I would seriously think about just having a desktop at home and finding a highend palm device for my mobile needs. But, since they do, my 12" goes with me wherever I need it to, and it runs an LCD monitor and I use it at home as my "desktop."

I bought a 12" powerbook yesterday and I'm loving it. I did write an 'essay' on this last night so I'll try not to repeat myself too much here (see the brand spanking new powerbook thread!)

My original plan was to go for an iBook, but after waiting for ages for an update that still hasn't happened I decided a Powerbook would actually probably last me longer. Also as I'm an IT contractor dealing with certain software apps that only run on Windows I'm going to have to install VirtualPC or something similar, so I thought I'd probably need the additional power. I won't be doing windows dev work on this machine but I do keep code snippets etc for reference.

So yes, this is going to be my ONLY personal computer, once I've sold my old Vaio notebook. I prefer using notebooks and small ones at that. They're far more portable and more comfortable on your lap too!

Whichever you decide to buy, I'm sure you won't be disappointed or regret not buying another model. You'll be having too much fun with it to be thinking about the other models, LOL.
