Has anyone tried to replace the CCFL lamps of a Powerbook G3 LCD?
My Pismo shows intense purple tint when booting, and it is becoming worst... I've purchased replacement CCFL bulbs, but have not found instructions to access the LCD display and replace the bulbs...
I've done this before in a 17 inch studio display, but do not want to risk killing the LCD, so If anyone has previously opened the LCD housing of a 14 inch powerbook G3, instructions are welcome!
