Powerbook G3 Wallstreet PRAM Battery Replacement

I'm working on an old Powerbook G3 Wallstreet.
The old battery isn't providing memory to the PRAM so it keeps forgetting settings.

I installed the new battery and tried booting but it wouldn't start up. I'm not sure why it isn't working with the new battery, any thoughts?

I tried using the old battery again and it worked fine...Not sure at all.
