Hey all finally was able to run some gaming benchmarks for everyon interested in the new Mobility Radeon 9600 performance.
UT 2003 Demo
800x600 Medium Settings
Antalus Flyby: min=32, Avg=106, Max=382
score=77
Antalus Botmatch: min=10, Avg=24.5, Max=54, score=25
1024x768 high settings
Antalus Flyby: min=26, Avg=71, Max=230
score=67
Antalus Botmatch: min=8, Avg=18, Max=51, score=18
So overall decent performance, at 1024x768 It feels fluid playing with medium settings turned on, if you look at Equivalent PC notebooks with centrinos and radeons it does ok, but it cant touch the Centrinos from 1.5-1.7GHz with 128MB radeons and is beaten by the same with 64MB cards as well.
