All,

Looking for some advice. I pulled out my powerbook G4 out to install the latest version of Debian. When it would get to the partition phase the screen system would crash. I then tried to install Leopard but I got a notification that there was a hardware issue and Leopard will not install. The was indicating an issue with the airport card. In the installer I noticed that I could not join my wifi network (my iBook is working on the wifi just fine). I then bought a replacement card from ebay and replaced my WiFi card. I installed Sorbet Leopard and I can boot into the machine but still no wifi. I can connect to my iPhone via bluetooth for internet, but I am trying to find out what the issue is. I doubt both cards have the same issue. System Profiler can see the device and I can see my network but when I try to join it times out.

Any thoughts?

That did not work. I am thinking it is either hardware or software related. I am dual booting Tiger and Sorbet Leopard and am seeing the same issue. I can scan wireless network but cannot join...
