powerbook g4 memory question

I'm looking to upgrade my memory in my powerbook g4 to 1gb. I'm kinda new to swapping out memory and such, and my question is: can DDR2 memory fit in a machine (such as my powerbook) made for DDR. The reason I ask this is the price difference is greatly less on the DDR2 side. Thank you.

No, if the Powerbook is a DDR machine, you cannot use DDR2 - they are physically and electrically incompatible.
