any parts such as lcd screen, keyboard, etc will work on macbook pro? I know logic board will not work with macbook. but lcd screen and keyboard anything else will work on macbook pro?

thank you

The optical drive MIGHT work on a non-unibody MBP. Powerbooks and non-unibody MBPs used ATA/IDE optical drives, so that might work.

Otherwise, I can't think of anything.

ok what about lcd screen and keyboard?

Take a look at the iFixit teardowns of early MBPs and later Powerbooks. iFixit lists the part numbers, so if they match they may well work. Offhand, I don't know.

Unlikely the LCD would work given your Powerbook, which has, IIRC, 1280x854 resolution, right? And the screens are a different size--15.2" on the PB and 15.4" on the MBP.

I highly doubt both.
Besides, do you have the correct size of screen for both?
And keyboard probably wont fit.
Unless your talking about the non-unibody model.
Then maybe

yeah I am look at 2006 or so Macbook Pro 15 inches with my powerbook G4 15in.
