Hey all,

I need some serious help. My 15'' Aluminum Powerbook G4 will not boot up. It gets stuck at the grey screen with the Apple logo then after 10 minutes it just turns off. There doesn't seem to be any odd noises coming from the machine. It all sounds very normal.

A few months ago the original charger got messed up so I started using a charger from the iBook G4. The original's wattage was 65w and this one is 45w. I don't know if this is the source of the problem. I left it in sleep mode overnight without the adapter, and when I tried to wake it up it was completely off.

The powerbook doesn't seem to be able to just run off of the adapter when the battery is removed. Also, I tried to reset the PRAM and PMU. They both failed.

Help!
