I've got a weird issue with a PowerBook G4. I was trying to reinstall Mac OS X and wipe the drive clean, but the problem is that the Mac refuses to accept the Leopard install disc. I haven't tried other discs, but I suspect the cause is the SuperDrive since it makes very odd noises when you try to insert/eject a disc and when the computer boots.

Is it the retail version of Leopard or is it a restore disk that came with a different computer? Is it a Matshita drive?
