That set definitely won't work. Look a little further in the same area.

OK. I'll add that I did use that set successfully on the previous 667MHz Gigabit.

It should work for previous models but not for subsequent ones. The ROM and drivers will be wrong/missing, which is the problem with the retail OS9 disc.

The universal MacOS9lives disc should work but the actual OS9 volume for the 867/1GHz TiBook is on MG if you root around.
