Hello all, I dug out my titanium PowerBook with intentions of fixing it up but the right hinge is broken and the cables that go through that side are cut. I soldered them back together, but the backlight rarely works and turns off if the brightness is increased to above two notches. The screen has video but the backlight isn't turning on. I can't seem to get it into clamshell mode either, with a keyboard/mouse, monitor, and power plugged in. What needs to be replaced/fixed, and what cables run through that side? I should mention that it is the 800 MHz DVI model. Thanks!
