powerbook + ipod nano! Student union

Do you guys think a new powerbook will get released while we are still in the student union $179 off ipod promotion period? Also do you think it will be an intel based laptop (finally!)

lol, i see what your talking about now, i just assumed the nano was included with the promotion, I guess it isn't. Either way, what about this deal for a mini + powerbook (I want a newer model)?

The promotion ends on 9/24, the Paris expo is on 9/20. I don't think anything big is going to be released at the Expo, but there's no harm in waiting until then. If nothing's released, you've still got 4 days to order a current revision PowerBook. I don't see any chance that an Intel PB will be released as Apple has said that Intel Macs won't start shipping until 2006, and it would be pretty dumb to release one now anyway, as most big developer's haven't got Intel versions of their software ready yet.
