    I have a powerbook 17" 1.5Ghz.

the airport in it appears to be going bad. Well, more accurately, the connection to the antenna seems to be bad. When the screen is in certain positions, i get little to no reception. If I adjust the screen, I can get full reception.

It's a pain, so I was going to get an external wireless card to go in the PMCIA slot. Plus I can upgrade to N speeds.

My one question is will I still be able to transmit music to my Airport express that is hooked up to my stereo?

Any Advise on what card to get? Most of the cards I see are now for the new slot and not the old style on the Powerbook.
