I opened internet explorer on my dell today and was greeted with this. Now i was slightly taken aback by this as obviously as you can see it's a Powerbook which has had the Powerbook text under the screen taken off and is Running Windows XP not to mention the fact it's on a Microsoft site.

It's not a microsoft advert, while it is on a microsoft site. Simply put macs are more astheticly pleasing then PC's so the ad creator probably just superimposed an image of XP on top of the mac. Or it was running virtual PC or whatnot.

It's not an ad. It's a MSN Money article.

Though you're right. Macs are often used like this with screenshots of Windows superimposed on the screen.

'Sides, it's not a Mac at the moment. It's just an Apple computer running Windows XP. What's anti-MS about that? :D
