I just purchased a new 12" at the beginning of this school year and it has been great, however I have noticed that some pixels just will not turn black. There are 12 across the whole screen, about 5 of them are obvious, the other 7 are just darker shades of blue or green. On any other color but black they work fine, but for some reason they just can't turn black. Would Apple cover this?
I know they only tolerate seven dead pixels or five stuck ones, but I am not sure as to how these lazy pixels would be classified. I was just wondering if anybody else has had a similar problem or experience and can point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance.

Give Apple a call, that doesn't sound like something you should have to tolerate. I'd want it fixed if it was my notebook.
