Powerbook Start up problem....Need Help

hey guys i come home today and turn on my power book and the white screen pops up and it stayed there for like 5 min then it went to the blue screen and while i was there ive been waiting for the window so i can sign in and the window that says OSX is booting.....i really need help with this...


should i turn it off again and let it sit?

or what...

Yeah, it wouldn't hurt anything to just turn it off (hold power button down) and then try it again. Hiccups happen sometimes.

ok i did that...and it skips that one screen where it says loading or starting OSX....and the screen turns blue and i can see my mouse and move it around...but nothing else is there

reset pram and go in to open firmware and typre fsck i think not sure now look it up
