I have a Rev B 12" powerbook with 786 ram combo
The reason I bought it was for school "to take notes" i did occasionally do that. But now I have an internship and they provide me with a laptop, be it a laptop that I would go office space 😉 in a heartbeat its a laptop none the less. So I am considering moving to a desktop anyone have a suggestion? I am a fairly light gamer my games are Warcraft 3, Alice those types of games. I do occasionally open up garageband and pull some stuff together.
with MWSF coming around what type of upgrades will we see out of the powermac? the buyer guide states there overdue for one but, no suggested upgrade has come about. would a powermac be overkill for me and i should just get the iMac. I have a 19" CRT monitor that i could attach to the powermac.
Refurb is not an issue unless it goes wrong in a good way like they give me 1 gig of ram with a much better video card. I can still get an educational discount, still a full time student.
or should i keep my 12" powerbook and say i don't need an to get it replaced since it still works.
first thing in computers never upgrade unless you need to. I will probably migrate back to a laptop once my internship is over.
