    Hey there

I'm trying to hook my 12" powerbook (1Ghz) up to my 19" Acer AL1913W widescree TFT panel.

I can hook it up fine, but there is some serious 'interference' -- see for yourself:

I get 'scrolling' 45 degree lines like that covering the display. But only when hooked up to my macs (tried with an iMac too). When connected to a PC the display is clear, crisp and perfect.

I think it has something to do with the PC's refresh rate or drivers. I was trying to experiment with DisplayConfig and SwitchRes to no real avail (they just confused me).

Has anyone got any ideas? Is there any way of 'matching' the PC's settings on my mac identically? The panel doesn't have a DVI input so i'm stuck with VGA unfortunately. At first i thought this was electrical interference, but the perfect performance on the PC seems to nullify this thought.
