Powerbook won't start up.

When I turn my Powerbook on it displays the grey screen with the Apple and wheel ticking over then after a while it shuts down then turns itself back on and starts the process all over again. It never gets past that grey screen. Can anyone help?

Have you tried resetting the PRAM and PMU?
