Hi

I was thinking about this the other day, the Powerbook is now the oldest Apple range because it has been around since the Powerbook 100.

Just had to bring this to the public domain!

There's really no point to change the product line. Unlike desktops, notebooks are all pretty much the same shape. With desktops you have towers and all-in-ones and those box like ones (I forgot the name) wheras with Powerbooks it's really the same basic computer design with modified casings.

But if you put a PowerBook100 and Titanium PowerBook next to each other you could only say that they really share a comon name, other than that there really isn't much resemblance. Not even the little Apple logo....

Apple uses the Powerbook name to identify their professional/high end laptop. I don't think there will be any need to change that any time soon.
