    Why is this not getting coverage? Here is it, Tuesday morning, and this is the first I've heard of it.

    Why is it, the poorest places always get hit the hardest?

    Not sure why. I have a good idea though however some commentary saying that they asked for international help sooner than expected indicating early on it was a bad one. Yesterday, caught a story that the first large aid shipments have arrived.

    First, it seems like tsunamis are mainly in the Pacific and hit islands where many people live close to sea level. Has nothing to do with "poor people".

    Good point. When we have hurricanes, though, it's usually the wealthy who get hit cause they've built up with their nice beach-view homes. But the folks who fish for a living....they're still struggling.
